Coming from a lifetime of competitive sports, I was wired to believe that pushing harder and going longer was always the answer. But over time, those same instincts fed into dysfunctional movement patterns that only got worse, no matter how hard I tried to fix them. As someone who processes everything analytically, not being able to understand what was happening left me feeling hopeless – like I could no longer trust my own body.
Michael helped me through one of the hardest periods of my life by showing me something I had never been taught: the power of slowing down and truly reconnecting with my body. That shift in perspective opened my eyes to sensations and patterns I’d never felt before. He also offered knowledge, compassion and comfort in a way that went far beyond what I ever expected.
Michael is a great teacher, but above all, he’s a great human being, and one I’ll forever be grateful for. His support helped me change direction at a time when I truly needed it, and through his guidance, he gave me something I thought I had lost – hope.
